THE WHEN AND WHERE OF IT ALL
The 2005 field trip will be held June 23 and June 24, 2005 in the Chicago area. This venue is convenient, accessible (between two major airports), and a great city to visit.
Location and Accommodations
Field Trip ’05 will be held in historic Oak Park, Illinois, home to the world's largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright designed buildings and houses. Oak Park is between Midway and O’Hare Airports ($23.00 cab ride) and is 10 miles west of Chicago’s Loop, conveniently located on a public transportation line.
We have a block of rooms at the Historic Carlton Hotel ranging in price from $90.00/night up to $129/night. Many of these are rooms with two double beds, so sharing will be easy. Reservations at the hotel must be made by May 25 to get our group rate. To make your reservation call at 888-CARLTON. Our group is #317. The Carlton Hotel is located at 1110 Pleasant Street, Oak Park.
Oak Park also has a number of Bed and Breakfasts and another hotel, the Write Inn. Rooms at the Write Inn are a little less than the Carlton. Contact information for The Write Inn is as follows: 211 N. Oak Park Avenue, Oak Park, Illinois 60302, (708) 383-4800.
You will not need to rent a car as the two hotels are both within walking distance of the meeting facility.
Field Trip ’05 will be held at the 19th Century Club, in the heart of the Frank Lloyd Wright district. From either the Carlton Hotel or the Write Inn, the meeting place is about a 3 block walk. This is all in downtown Oak Park, where you will find a Starbucks, Borders Book Store, lots of restaurants, and public transportation to Chicago.

These phone seminars are scheduled for the third Thursday of each month at 12:00 (noon) eastern time.
The phone seminars are deliberately limited to 12 people so that you can work on the things you are developing in your business -- and you will benefit from the feedback from the group as well as our capable instructors -- these phone sessions are designed to keep you on track and moving forward. These seminars are an exceptional tool, as you can think with others, gain peer support, have some mutual accountability and move forward quickly as a result.
Tape of the Month ($250 value)
Tape of the month: on a regular basis you will be sent a powerful tape that will teach you and motivate you on the various topics that we have covered in Field Trip ‘05, but will bring more in-depth understanding and other resources, as taught by other extraordinary business leaders. You will receive 12 resource tapes, one each month, and these will include lessons for building a business from some of the best entrepreneurs. Topics will range from website creation, to attracting perfect clients, to steps for fail-proof marketing, etc. These are a must, as you can listen over and over again, and keep the learning fresh and relevant.

This live resource phone conference will take place on the third Thursday of each month at 1 pm eastern time. Field Trip Schedule
The Field Trip will start promptly each day at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 pm. Lunch and coffee will be provided on each day.
At the end of the first day of Field Trip ’05, we will end our formal sessions at 4:30 pm and then will walk to the home of Mary Heidkamp, one of the Field Trip Leaders, for a wine and cheese reception. This will give us a chance to unwind together, talk over ideas, stroll the neighborhood to look at the Wright houses, and then by 7 pm we will call it a day.
We will provide a list of local restaurants within walking distance and also provide suggestions for downtown Chicago locations worth seeing.
Since we will finish at 4:30 pm on our second day, it would be best to schedule flights no earlier than 7:00 or 7:30 pm. Friday afternoon traffic can tend to be backed up.
